Pilgrims Guide

Welcome to Regina RICA

It is 13.5 hectare sacred space in the southern slopes of the Sierra Madre Mountain in Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal. Founded by Sr. Eppie Brasil, OP, and owned and managed by the Dominican Sisters of Regina Rosarii. RICA has four integrated mission that makes your visit a wholistic experience.

RICA Hours and Entrance Protocols

  1. Official Hours – 8 AM TO 5 PM from Wednesday to Sunday.
  2. We don’t charge any entrance fees.
  3. Parking Fee is 50 pesos per light vehicle, and 100 pesos for buses and large vans
  4. Dress Code is strictly implemented inside RICA. Please refer to this photo below for details.

Kindly proceed to the Orientation Area.
Candle Donation: 35 pesos

SULOD

SULOD or the Sanctuary of Universal Love and Devotion is a space where the Blessed Sacrament is exposed. Taking of pictures is strictly not allowed.

Use of Other Sacred Spaces

If you wish to use the following sacred spaces during your visit:

Stations of the Cross
Labyrinth

Other sacred spaces are not open to large groups.

Chapel Services

Masses are held at the Main Chapel.

Mass – Wednesday @ 11:00 AM
Mass – Thursday @ 11:00 AM
Mass – Friday @ 11:00 AM
Mass – Saturday @ 11:00 AM and 3:30 PM
Mass – Sunday @ 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM

Do you wish to rent a space for your private prayer or recollection?

For recollection session, you may use St. Joseph’s Hall for a donation. If you have your own mass at the Mystic Chapel, all love offering will be for the maintenance of Regina RICA.

Restaurant Services

You can rent cottages in Handong and bring our own food.
Rental of cottages is 300 pesos consumable.
 
If you wish to avail of your catering services.
Please send us your menu and your rates per person.
 
You can order separately at your restaurant.

You can eat outside Regina RICA.

Waste Management

Kindly bring your garbage back home. For those who buy RICA bottled water, there are trash bins for empty bottles.

No Smoking policy

RICA is a wellness center. We take care in making sure that our pilgrims will breathe the fresh air of the mountain.
