Celebrating the Golden Jubilee of Sr. Mary Carmen Advincula, OP

Each year is a reason to celebrate a vocation. But the fiftieth year is a special milestone. That is in effect what our Golden Jubilarian said in her thanksgiving speech. Sr. Mary Carmen Advincula, OP, wearing a traditional Dominican cape and a crown of golden roses renewed her vows in the presence of her Superior General Sr. Eppie Brasil, OP and witnessed by Cardinal Advincula, Bishop Francis De Leon, D.D., Bishop-elect Jun Sipalay, and many other priests. The mass brought together families, members, friends, donors, benefactors, and pilgrims from around the country. Homilist was Fr Donagh O’Shea, OP from Ireland.
