Motorcade Procession of Regina Rosarii La Viajera Proceeds Amidst Signal Number 3 Typhoon

“We will proceed with the motorcade procession of Regina Rosarii La Viajera despite typhoon signal number 3. Mama Mary wants to remind her people to take care of our environment, especially the Sierra Madre.”

This decision by the Foundress of Regina RICA Sr. Eppie Brasil, OP was met with approval by the multi-sectoral committee that planned and coordinated the annual procession on October 29, 2022, around Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal.

To celebrate the end of Rosary Month and the Feast of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, the motorcade procession began during the pandemic when lockdowns prohibited devotees to visit Mama Mary at RICA.
“So, we bring Mama Mary to them,” explained Sr. Eppie.

The 2022 procession was dedicated to the prosperity of Sampaloc, peace in Tanay, and the protection of the Sierra Madre from climate change disasters.

Around 200 people in 40 vehicles joined the motorcade procession representing the local governments, business sectors, civic associations, and the volunteers of RICA.

The military personnel from Camp Mateo Capinpin provided Marshalls and the Marching Band.
