A Blessed Catch: Finding God in the Bounty of the Sea

Today’s recreation with Mother Eppie and Sisters and friends brought us to Talipan, Cardona, where we witnessed the harvesting of bangus (milkfish)!

The experience reminded us of St. Peter, the fisherman who was called by Jesus to become a fisher of men. Just as Peter experienced the wonders of the sea and the abundance of the catch, we too were reminded of God’s providence and the blessings that come from the fruits of our labor. 💙

A joyful day of fellowship, friendship, and gratitude for the simple yet beautiful gifts of God’s creation. Indeed, recreation becomes more meaningful when we share it with one another and see God’s presence in every experience. 🌿🐟

Radio Veritas Broadcast Ministry in the year 2026

The Dominican Sisters of Regina Rosarii carry out their evangelizing mission through the Radio Veritas Broadcast Ministry, sharing the Word of God, the beauty of prayer, and the richness of the Dominican spirituality with listeners.

Every Sunday, from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM, the Sisters come down from Regina RICA to the radio veritas area in edsa in front of SM NORTH to participate in the broadcast ministry, offering reflections and spiritual messages that nourish the faith and deepen the listeners’ relationship with God.

Once a month, the ministry also provides an opportunity for the Congregation’s Lay Mission Partners to take part in the broadcast. Through their sharing and witness, they extend the mission of the Dominican Sisters beyond the convent and into the wider community, bringing the Gospel to people in their homes and daily lives.

Through this ministry, the Sisters and their Lay Mission Partners continue to proclaim the Gospel, make Our Lady known and loved, and bring the message of hope, healing, and God’s love to all.
