For today please do not be in a hurry. Sit for a while. Are you tired? Are you in pain? Are you happy? Would you like to share your joy to your mother? The way of the Cross. This starts in the garden goes around the central area of Regina RICA and finishes on top of the hill, just like the way in the time of Jesus. The experience is too short? You want more time to pray and be alone? You feel you want to have a retreat as a group with your own retreat facilitator or get one of the sisters to facilitate? We have thought of that longing of the heart for a prolonged prayer experience, we have the Puloy-an. Find the secret of RICA when it is dusk when everything is still. GIFT, Garden of Indigenous and native trees. In this garden you will find trees planted that are endemic in the Philippines. When the trees have all grown up we Filipinos can get the touch and feel our native trees. How many native trees do you know? This is a contemplative experience with nature. At the middle of GIFT is a gazebo with a pond with many red tilapia. You can sing and see them surface at the different times of the day. The labyrinth is a spiritual tool. A labyrinth is symbolic of the journey to the center of yourself. It is an aid for learning about the spiritual path. Taken from the labyrinth, walking your spiritual journey. The Multi purpose hall or St. Joseph Hall is in the second floor of the Chapel edifice. It serve as our facility for serving food during retreats. It can serve 300 people. We did our lectures and contemplative sits during our retreats here before the construction of Rica Retreats. Masses are held here also. The mystic chapel cane serve 300 people. The OLFA. Our Lady of Fatima Hall. We can serve food 30 to 35 persons in OLFA who are in retreat. Before the construction of the chapel, mass was celebrated under the trees. We stayed under the canopy of trees during the whole year where typhoons threatened our celebration. The rain came before and after the mass. During those times, it never rained during the mass. We felt our Lady’s protection. Sir David M. Consunji, taught that people from all walks of life be part of the chapel. Engr. David also said that for now the chapel seems big but time will come when there will be more people and the chapel will seem to be small. True enough with the influx of people through the years, the chapel seem small now with the overflow of pilgrims especially on Sundays. The Pasilungan Restaurant. This started as a small kubo because people were looking for a place to eat. They did not want to go home. They wanted to stay to experience the silence, stillness and simplicity of the place. In fact in the afternoons you have persuade people to go home because we are closing. The SULOD.
