Good Friday activities

Many pilgrims come to RICA on Good Friday to reflect on the suffering and death of Jesus. We remember this day as the mark of the culmination of God’s plan to save his people from their sins.

We started the day with the way of the cross in the garden with all our volunteers and sisters. The way of the cross ended on top of the hill.  We had the 7 last words and this was followed by the services of the cross.IMG_4962 IMG_4965 IMG_4992

Regina RICA celebrates PALM SUNDAY

People around the globe today are commemorating Palm Sunday when we celebrate the triumphal entry  of Jesus into Jerusalem, one week before His resurrection.

We remember Jesus as he ascended toward Jerusalem, a large multitude gathered around Him. This crowd understood that Jesus was the Messiah; The crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road” that is where Palm Sunday got its  name.

In Regina RICA, Sister Eppie gathered our pilgrims on top of the hill where Mama Mary is and marched down towards the chapel.
